Swissotel Beijing Hong Kong Macau Center Revie- Premier Room with 1 King-size Bed, City & Garden View

Reopened in 2023, the Swissôtel Beijing Hong Kong Macau Center has been beautifully renovated and offers a convenient location with a subway station right outside the door. It is close to major attractions in Beijing, and everything—from getting a taxi to finding the subway and checking in—was very smooth.

Location & Transport 

The hotel is right next to the Dong Si Shi Tiao subway station (Line 2). You do not even have to go outside to get to the subway entrance! Line 2 is a circle line, so it connects to almost everywhere in Beijing easily. However, as we were traveling with a toddler, we mainly traveled via Didi.

Check-in & Room 

Upon check-in, the hotel looked big and fancy. The lobby is bright, modern, and feels very open. It was busy with people, but it had a nice energy! We were lucky to have our rooms ready in the morning. 

We booked the room - Premier Room with 1 King-size Bed, City & Garden View. The room is around 300 sqft big. It was clean and looked brand new. It had a simple "Swiss" style—lots of wood and light colors. Even though the hotel is in a busy part of the city, my room was quiet. I could not hear the cars outside. The bed was the best part; it was firm but soft on top. The sheets were smooth and high quality. The bathroom was a good size too!

Concierge Service 

If you have any Taobao parcels delivered to the hotel, the reception is able to collect them on your behalf. All you need to do is write down the order number, pass it to the concierge, and return later to collect it.

Breakfast 

Thankfully, as an Accor member, we were given one complimentary breakfast, and my toddler (Y) ate for free. One of us would bring Y to have breakfast at the hotel before heading out! The buffet spread was huge! They had everything—croissants, cheese, Chinese noodles, and dim sum. Everything tasted fresh.

Overall 

The Swissôtel Beijing Hong Kong Macau Center is a perfect choice if you want a clean, modern, and super convenient hotel in Beijing. The recent renovation makes it feel brand new. Being right on top of the subway station saves you a lot of time and money on taxis. I highly recommend it for both business travelers and tourists.
